So, who is your favorite Super Hero?
Batman and Superman seem to be the talk of the town right now…
I guess, as a kid, I always wanted to be Superman…but as I got older, I grew more fond of Batman…He just seems more real…
The thing about Batman is, he’s just a regular guy (except for the billions of dollars…), who’s been equipped with special tools that help him combat evil and do good for the people around him.
Now that’s a Super Hero!!!
Want some good news…? You can be a Super Hero too!!
When you accept Jesus as your Savior, He doesn’t stop there…
He wants to give you super powers!! No, not flying or X-ray vision…
But God gives us special tools (Spiritual Gifts) to fight evil and help the world around us…
Tools that help us cast out demons (combat evil), heal the sick, give sight to the blind, and protect us against danger and poisons…
As much as Gotham City needs Batman…Your world needs you!!!
In The Great Commission, Jesus tells us to go into the world and tell His story…
With this, He also tells us to use these gifts and tools He’s equipped us with to make this world a better place.
One of my favorite Bible verses is Acts 1:8… here is my paraphrase of that verse;
God will send The Holy Spirit to equip you with supernatural powers, and you will be Super Heroes for Christ in your homes, your communities, and all over this world!!
