• 2-6 for the season so far, and still suffering with injuries from key players.
While some people are saying, “their season is over”, “time is running out for a comeback”, (and those are the nice ones), I was encouraged to see a headline from the Cowboys camp that read “With Half Season Still To Play, Players Focusing More On Next Eight Games”.
That’s the right attitude!!!
• Never consider yourself a failure because of what’s behind you…
• Keep looking forward and prepare for success!!!
That’s not just for football that applies to all of us.
The Apostle Paul said it best;
Philippians 3:12-14
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Go ahead and shout “I am not defeated!!” (And maybe “go Cowboys!!”)
Shift your focus forward, and prepare yourself for what God has in store!!!
Don’t let anyone convince you that it’s over…
